MKTE 2022 will take place at an exciting new venue that is the Bomas of Kenya! It is an iconic venue in Nairobi known for preserving Kenya’s rich and diverse cultures.
Our Kenyan exhibitors will know this venue well, as the national election tallying centre. For our non-Kenyan exhibitors, this venue is located southwest of Nairobi, alongside the Nairobi National Park.
We have great plans for MKTE to use the entire precinct to create an immersive space. The exhibitor stands will be set up in an A-frame hard-sided marquee, with the added bonus that everyone will be in one exhibiting space.
WHO WILL BE THERE?
MKTE 2022 will host over 150 global buyers and welcome trade visitors and self-sponsored buyers too! KTB’s Regional Marketing Managers have invited a mix of new buyers (first time to MKTE) as well as a select group of repeat buyers for exhibitors to re-establish global partnerships. After a stringent evaluation process, we have exceeded the target and have now confirmed:
55 hosted buyers from Europe
40 hosted buyers from North America
35 hosted buyers from Asia
25 hosted buyers from Africa
We received over 600 applications for this year’s expo. As MKTE operates on a limited budget, we have now introduced a new category for self-sponsored buyers, with a range of great benefits, to still attend the expo and meet our exhibitors.
200 exhibitors are expected to participate in the expo, bringing together top products and experiences from East and Southern Africa for the first LIVE show since 2019. Exhibitor’s applications are still open at https://mkte.co.ke/
