Occupational And Safety Exhibition In East Africa 2023

This week we bring to you the Occupational & Safety Exhibition in East Africa 2023. Kenya has a population of 47.5 million people (KPHC, 2019), with a total working population of 18 million. About 3 million are employed in the formal sector and 15 million in the informal sector across the country (KNBS, 2020). There are other laws and regulations touching on OSH and are issued and enforced by different Government ministries and state departments. It is in the interest of every employer in Kenya to have the required safety equipment and apparel.

The Occupational Safety and Health Act of Kenya, requires that in workplaces where employees are exposed to wet or to any injurious or offensive substances, the employers must provide and maintain clothing and appliances that are adequate, effective, and suitably protective, including, where necessary, suitable gloves, footwear, goggles, and head coverings.

What are you doing in your company to ensure that your employees are safe?

K-OSH East Africa is a Co-located show for Securexpo East Africa, that serves as the East Africa meeting place for anyone responsible for running a safe and efficient workplace.

The 6 th edition of the expo is set to take place from March 7-9, 2023, at the Sarit Expo Centre in Nairobi,
Kenya. The event has steadily grown to be the fastest growing exhibition in its sector, attracting several suppliers who are targeting East Africa’s audience of health and safety buyers actively looking for product information, solutions, and best practice to improve workplace standards.
