Sharon Obara Crowned Miss World Kenya 2021 at a glamours evening held at the Trademark Hotel on the 28th of August 2021
Chantou Kwamboka and Mary Mwihaki took 1st and 2nd Runner up respectively. Sharon took the crown from the reigning crown holder Wavinya Maria.
Some of the invited guests included Esther Passaris, Nairobi Women Representative, Joe Mucheru ICT Cabinet Secretary amongst others. The CS pledged to support the pageant through his ministry. He said, “As a minister, we will step up and support this pageant. The kind of beauty witnessed today is one that cannot be undermined . Kenya has a lot of true beauty”.
The guests who came all elegantly dressed were entertained to different categories of dance segment, cultural attire and evening gown category.
The judges included Terry Mungai (Franchise owner and CEO of Miss World Kenya), Magline Jeruto, Big Ted, Robert Burale and Gospel singer Size 8.
Sharon Obara will represent Kenya in Puerto Rico in December at the Global Stage. We wish her all the best.
