Visit of U.S. Under Secretary for International Trade and the Presidents Advisory Council on Doing Business in Africa

On Wednesday, 27th June 2018 KQ headquarters in Nairobi, hosted the US Trade Delegation and Kenya Government Officials to discuss trade opportunities between the two countries and plans on Kenya Airways upcoming non-stop flights to New York. 
 
In attendance is the Us Undersecretary of Commerce, Gilbert Kaplan; US Ambassador to Kenya, Ambassador Bob Godec; Najib Balala CS for Tourism & Wildlife; James Macharia CS for Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development; Adan Mohamed CS Ministry of Industry, Trade and Cooperatives among other dignitaries and distinguished guests.
 
Kenya Airways CEO Sebastian Mikosz welcomes all guests to this event. “We launched sales to NYC in January, targeting premium and leisure travelers, the dream liner will fly non-stop daily flights between East Africa and the US, we expect the market to market economic impact and trade stimulation. We will also offer connections to other East African countries, opening up these markets to the US.
