Cabinet Secretary Hosts TUI Delegation, 14th January 2019

Hon. Najib Balala, EGH, Cabinet Secretary for Tourism & Wildlife on Monday met with a Tourism Union International (TUI) delegation headed by their CEO Fritz Joussen at the Baobab Beach Resort in Diani, Kwale County.

The delegation was on a fact-finding trip about opportunities in the country’s hospitality industry. Part of the delegation are Taki and Zahir Moledina, the owners of Alpha Rangers Pollmans (ARP) group, who are partners with TUI – which has been coming to Kenya for 44 years.

The discussion focused on how TUI can partner in a joint venture in hotels with ARP and also increase their numbers in Kenya, especially at the coast by increasing their charters.
