The African Twilight Exhibition was officially opened by, Amina C. Mohammed the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Sports, Culture and heritage at the African Heritage house on 3rd March 2019. In attendance was Alan Donovan, Proprietor of the African Heritage House, The Principal Secretary, Culture and Heritage, Josephta Mukobe and many others.

The CS started by congratulating the renowned world photographers Carol Beckwith and Angela Fisher especially for this outstanding exhibition which has captured cultural diversity of African continent spanning the entire human Life cycle from birth to death.
“The Importance of intangible cultural heritage is acknowledged worldwide. Here on Kenya, Our constitution recognises culture ads ‘ the foundation of the nation and as the cumulative civilisation of the Kenyan people and nation”

She was keen to pay tribute to Beckwith and Fisher for the prints on exhibition and for their latest book tilted: AFRICAN TWILIGHT: THE VANISHING RITUALS AND CEREMONIES OF THE AFRICAN CONTINENT
